Sensory Stimulation
Our system has united the philosophy of Montessori with the philosophy of traditional school, to make more emphasis in Montessori, we have created a space Snoezelen (program of sensorial stimulation created in Denmark), this space had been adapted to our pupils, to their ages and needs.
The Snoezelen space is understood as a room especially adapted with material technically prepared to provide diverse sensory experiences.
We stimulate the senses of sight, taste, hearing, touch and smell, through different activities from which we have created a specific program.
We have discovered many changes in some of our students, an evolution in their way of knowing their surroundings, of recognizing sounds, smells, recognizing things without seeing them ... .. it is admirable how these activities have fulfilled their objectives.
Functions that can be promoted in a Snoezelen space (Kwok, 2003):
Relaxation, developing self-confidence, self-control, encouraging exploration and creative skills, establishing good communication, providing a sense of well-being and leisure, promoting the choice of different materials, increasing attention and concentration time in children, to reduce changes and behavioral alterations.

The health of your future depends on your present
It is important that our children eat well, these ages many children are not accustomed to eating fruits, vegetables, fish, etc... in our center will learn to eat everything and something very important also hygiene and manners at the table.
Education is very important in this section, however, it is not given much importance, although the experts warn us that it directly affects their performance in all areas.
E.I. Santa Esmeralda we give much importance to this aspect, that's why we have a chef specialized in the feeding of children, he knows perfectly how to camouflage those "horrible and green" vegetables, such as making them eat fish without problems, etc.
The diet is Mediterranean and you would be surprised to see how well our children eat, with what joy they sit at the table!.
Maternal Classroom
We have several work rooms, of psicomotricidad, of rest, hygiene area and playgrounds. The children in this Center have access to all classrooms, they do not have restricted areas, although it is true that each group is assigned its place. We do not like having the doors closed, children are very curious and must be free to visit their older or younger companions if they wish.
The teaching will be in English and Spanish, to be adapted to both languages. Each quarter you are sent a report of academic and personal evolution. At the moment we will help you to control sphincters.
